Dry Up Wasteful Water Habits [INFOGRAPHIC]

In response to the unprecedented drought conditions in California, the state has instituted a plan to reduce urban water consumption by 25% over the course of a year. The goal may seem lofty, but it’s easier to cut your water usage than you may think—especially after a short trip to the hardware store. Start by swapping out older faucets for low-flow ones. If you have an outdoor hose, be sure it has a shut-off nozzle. In your yard, consider rocks and hardscape instead of plants that require regular watering.
