Anthurium

Anthurium plants (also known as flamingo flower, laceleaf flower, painter’s palette or tailflower) can tolerate all levels of indirect light, but growing them in low light will produce fewer flowers and slower growth. They cannot tolerate direct light as this can burn the leaves.

Anthurium care also requires that the soil be free draining but hold some water as they do not like continually moist soil. The plant is susceptible to root rot, so too much water can cause the roots to rot or die.
